This will be a remote position, but the teammate will need to be located in this area as regular travel is required across the territory.</b></p><p></p><p>We find that our best leaders are those who create an inspiring vision for the future and empowers their team to achieve success. They have always enjoyed tackling difficult problems and believe that the best way to solve them is through collaborative, team efforts.  They take ownership of results and instill accountability in those they lead.  They are driven, strong communicators, relationship builders, and find real fulfillment in challenging work.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>The Role You'd Play as a Regional Operations Manager:</b> </p><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>Team Leadership: </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Lead a remote team consisting of approximately 9 Patient Pathways Dialysis Coordinators within the Patient Pathway program including but not limited to teammate relations, fostering a positive work environment, conducting annual performance and salary reviews, performance management, recruitment, retention, terminations, and related ePCNs</li><li>Conduct regular update calls and operating reviews with each direct report</li><li>Manage the hiring and onboarding process for  Dialysis Coordinators in assigned territory</li><li>Know, understand, implement and follow DaVita Teammate Guidelines and employment policies and procedures</li><li>Schedule and organize new teammate training, including both classroom training and on-site shadowing</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Financial</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Review financial statements and data</li><li>Ownership of territory P&L</li><li>Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets. Plan effective strategies for financial well-being of Patient Pathways.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Growth and Strategic Initiatives</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Implement new Patient Pathways Program across hospital partners</li><li>Meet face to face with hospital partners to discuss current discharge processes</li><li>Structure, introduce and train hospital partners on the Patient Pathway program</li><li>Identify areas of improvement in the discharge process in individual local markets</li><li>Conduct regular update check-ins with hospital partners and Patient Pathways management before, during, and after implementation</li><li>Analyze, develop, and implement new ways for the company to differentiate itself in the marketplace</li><li>Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's service offerings, markets, current market share within individual markets, market competition, and strategies to secure new business</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Conduct Local Market Education, Awareness and Strategy</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Work cross-functionally with DaVita and Non-DaVita operations leadership across chronic and hospital services teams to introduce Patient Pathways</li><li>Update local operations leadership on the progress and impact of the Patient Pathways program</li><li>Discuss ongoing strategies for each market with Patient Pathways and field management</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Dialysis Coordinator Coverage Assistance</u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Provide coverage assistance at Patient Pathways partner hospitals as needed (including but not limited to covering during teammate PTO leave or position vacancies)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Reporting </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Analyze Patient Pathways reports for assigned territory including but not limited to patient volume for each Dialysis Coordinator and length of stay and readmissions  metrics for territory and individual hospitals</li><li>Analyze performance of each market and make recommendations on future action plans based on the analysis</li><li>Provide management team with monthly updates regarding the above metrics</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Experience Required for this Role: </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Minimum of two (2) years' management experience required; remote teammate management required; healthcare industry management experience preferred</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years' project management and/or project implementation experience required</li><li>Minimum of one (1) year experience demonstrating strong understanding of commercial insurance plans and benefits (PPO, HMO, POS, EPO, Indemnity) as well as government insurance programs (Medicare, Medicaid) required</li><li>Operational or client management experience across multiple sites required</li><li>Track record of developing strategies around growth and operational problem solving. Partnerships and influence are a part of your leadership tool set.</li><li>Experience driving results for your book of business. You love KPIs and have already been successful in mobilizing resources to impact the team’s performance.
