Join us and be the eyes, ears and voice of Ford.<br><br><strong>In this position...</strong><br><br>Market Area Coordinators (MACs) will respond to the immediate needs of the business; technician recruiting, retention and recognition. They will work on projects to support the New Ford Tech programs, Mobile Service, Ford Pro Elite, and work to support the needs of the Technical Placement Specialists in their designated market area. The Market Area Coordinator must have a strong understanding of Ford Service Capacity and how it impacts our bottom line. The main focus for the MACs is to improve the overall Technician Count and assist dealers with their technician retention efforts.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><strong>What you'll do...</strong><br><ul> <li>Coordinate with the regional/market teams on business plans to achieve technician count objectives <ul> <li>Work with key program initiatives to understand their needs and how they fit into the established objectives</li> </ul></li> <li>Manage and review the market area calendar of events with the GO and field teams</li> <li>Facilitate market area events (Career fairs, NHRA events, etc.) <ul> <li>Handle registration for events where appropriate</li> <li>Coordinate events with the field teams (TPS, ZM, LOCXM, FSE) to attend/support the events</li> </ul></li> <li>Facilitate giveaways, set ups for events, utilize the TCEP store to support events with literature and/or giveaways</li> <li>Assess and identify needs of the programs (tools/equipment/marketing support)</li> <li>Identify/partner with New Ford Tech programs to promote Ford and Lincoln dealerships a destination for students/technicians as they matriculate from their schools/programs</li> <li>Support regional/market efforts to identify opportunities that support technician recruiting/retention (i.e. pre-apprenticeship/apprenticeship opportunities)</li> <li>Serve as Market Lead for Top Techs+ and Tech Connect Program Execution - Provide training and support to the regional teams and the Tech Drive Team</li> <li>Market Area Ford Pro Elite Program Lead - Support Ford Pro Elite dealers in their efforts to establish a pipeline of technicians in their facilities</li> <li>Assist and support onboarding efforts for new TPS' in the market - Expected to travel with newly onboarded TPS' to help familiarize them with their territory and the technician recruiting strategy</li> <li>Market Area lead for tech recruiting/recognition/retention efforts - Provide a monthly Tech Program Metric Report Out/Performance to OBJ during regional ORG meetings</li> <li>Technician count/placement objectives <ul> <li># of events that are identified and supported along with successes/opportunities</li> <li>Technician Program Utilization Performance</li> <li>Tech Retention</li> <li>Top Techs+ status reviews</li> <li>Tech Connect Program Utilization</li> <li>ACE Engagement Performance</li> </ul></li></ul><br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><strong>You'll have...</strong><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required</li> <li>2-5+ years of professional work experience</li> <li>Must be willing and able to travel 65% of the time within market area and throughout the U.S. <ul> <li>Frequent local and out-of-state travel within market area required</li> <li>Overnight travel to be expected</li> </ul></li> <li>Strong understanding of Dealership Parts and Service Operations</li> <li>Comprehension of technician productivity and service capacity constraints</li> <li>Strong project/program management experience and business acumen - Ability to prioritize tasks based on what will drive performance to objectives</li> <li>Proven track record of working independently, following-through and solving problems quickly</li> <li>Able and willing to relocate now and/or in the future</li> <li>Must have a valid and unrestricted driver's license</li></ul><br><strong>Even better, you may have...</strong><br><ul> <li>Automotive service technical background desired</li> <li>Self-starter capable of operating independently and adapting to dynamic situations</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with dealership/regional personnel as well as cross functional activity partners</li> <li>Ability to accomplish required position duties and business plan objectives with minimal supervision</li> <li>Strong project/program management and organizational skills</li> <li>Strong computer skills and knowledge of key business applications (MS Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.)</li> <li>Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas</li> <li>Understanding and utilization of PTS and STARS systems</li> <li>Strong presentation skills</li> <li>Ability to prioritize assignments/tasks in order to complete in a timely manner</li></ul><br>You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!<br><br>As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
