JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Turning Point USA's Media department is seeking a Website Design and Developer to lead the design and development of TPUSA's primary website and marketing landing pages. This mid-level role requires an experienced professional who can confidently own both the visual design and technical execution of high-impact web experiences.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, build, and maintain TPUSA's primary website and campaign landing pages.
  • Translate brand strategy into high-performing, conversion-focused web experiences.
  • Develop custom layouts and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and Squarespace frameworks.
  • Work directly with developers to communicate and coordinate larger website updates and technical fixes.
  • Lead and manage tracking across all ad platforms, analytics tools, and purchasing software to ensure clean, accurate data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience and customer journeys; make adjustments or coordinate updates with developers.
  • Troubleshoot website issues quickly and effectively.
  • Manage and optimize WordPress infrastructure, plugins, themes, and custom code.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to roll out company-wide campaigns on the website.
  • Report on and analyze website and campaign performance, providing actionable insights to leadership.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of professional experience in website design and front-end development.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and fully developed, production-ready websites.
    • Proven graphic design experience including layout, typography, branding systems, and digital asset creation.
    • Advanced proficiency in WordPress (custom themes, plugins, troubleshooting, and site structure management).
    • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience building responsive, mobile-first, conversion-focused landing pages.
    • Basic experience implementing tracking scripts (Meta Pixel, GTM, GA4) in coordination with marketing teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with multiple departments and stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervision.
    • Demonstrates the physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 15 lbs.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to locations as needed.

    "WOW" Skills:

    • Experience with Squarespace site builds and updates
    • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and user journey mapping.
    • Technical SEO knowledge (site speed, schema, Core Web Vitals).
    • Experience integrating websites with CRM or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
    • Familiarity with website hosting environments and deployment workflows.
    • Ability to independently execute projects from concept through launch with minimal oversight.
