We’re looking for someone interested in working with talented team members, exciting clients, and growing a Shopify practice. We work on both domestic and global projects with merchants across Consumer Electronics, Outdoors, Fashion, Beauty, and CPG. Location: Remote – Los Angeles a plus Hours: Full-Time or Contractor Start Date: Immediate Responsibilities • Joining our resident Shopify Plus and WordPress expert team • Working with UX and designers to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable front-end experiences • Building out custom Shopify or WordPress themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project • Working with Project Management to scope new functionality requests and supporting Sales to scope new projects • Intense passion and strong desire to be successful in the field of web development or programming • Ability to move between customer projects, understand business needs that drive features, and be consultative throughout • A great team player • We want to work with positive-minded people • Strong worth ethic and attention to detail Requirements • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working within the WordPress platform, PHP, the WordPress API, or WP GraphQL is a plus • Minimum of 2+ years experience working within the Shopify Plus platform, and Liquid templating language • 3+ years working with modern technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 experience • 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX as necessary, ES2015 + Babel/Webpack • Experience working with CSS pre-processors like Sass or Less • Experience working with frameworks such as Vue, React, Nuxt, or Next.js • Experience working with front-end animation libraries like GSAP, Tween, or animejs • Experience working with the Pug/Jade templating syntax is a plus. • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or similar field • Superb troubleshooting and debugging skills. • Always wanting to push the boundaries of what is possible to create impactful web experiences Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
