Position Summary

Water Sports LLC is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and team performance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, customer order fulfillment, and workplace safety within a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience utilizing inventory management systems, preferably Fishbowl. This individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of driving accountability and process improvement across warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, staging, and order fulfillment
  • Lead and supervise warehouse employees while maintaining productivity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and transaction reporting within company systems
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions for reporting, inventory analysis, forecasting, and operational tracking
  • Maintain and manage inventory systems, preferably Fishbowl, including inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and reporting
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer and operational deadlines
  • Monitor warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk
  • Work closely with leadership, customer service, accounting, and operations teams to support business objectives
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of warehouse equipment and materials
  • Support operational continuity during periods of high demand or business changes
  • Assist with vendor coordination and shipping/logistics management as needed
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse leadership or warehouse management experience
  • Strong leadership and employee management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with inventory management systems required; Fishbowl experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations
  • Ability to analyze data and generate operational reports
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and operational activity
