This physician leader serves as the top clinical and administrative executive at Montefiore Medical Group (MMG), one of the most comprehensive primary care networks in greater New York City. This individual will lead more than 250 providers and 1000 staff across 20 locations providing affordable, quality primary care, family medicine, pediatric, and women’s health services to more than 240,000 patients annually. Montefiore Medical Group is a national leader in innovative urban community care – both for patients and for students/trainees. The Vice President will oversee all MMG strategy, operations, finance, education and teaching, and analytics with the goal of delivering impactful and effective services as primary care models become more complex. This individual will lead efforts (for example) around MMG’s nine federally qualified health centers, leading-edge school-based health sites, robust community partnerships, and achieving ongoing operational efficiency and excellence for providers, staff and patients in the practices. This position requires an experienced primary care physician leader who is operationally savvy and strategically minded. This executive is someone who can not only lead daily operations for the medical group, but can create vision, momentum, and followership in new initiatives and strategies. The ideal candidate is well-versed and comfortable building consensus and leading growth in primary care, academic and urban settings with a historic institution in a world-class city.
