In this role, you will be responsible for writing code and scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional testing, and contributing to automated test frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. You'll collaborate across engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests — all while helping shape and evolve our build pipeline and quality standards.</p> <h2>Technology Tools</h2> <ul> <li>DICOM, PACS, HL7, and IHE</li> <li>CI/CD Automation Tools</li> <li>Medical Digital Imaging Software</li> <li>Software Application Testing Tools and Frameworks</li> </ul> <h2>Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure the holistic quality of the software.</li> <li>Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security.</li> <li>Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; create and manage performance metrics, defects/enhancements, test cases, and test results.</li> <li>Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and best practice knowledge to identify and implement better test tools and automation methodologies.</li> <li>Complete complex peer code reviews for test automation code, incorporating feedback into automated tests while influencing and leading team standards, planning, work estimation, and test design.</li> <li>Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members; research complex escalations for production and software issues to ensure the continued stability of the application.</li> </ul> <h2>Role Essentials — What You Bring</h2> <ul> <li>BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 3+ years of experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience with all phases of the test lifecycle, including significant experience with test design, regression testing, and test automation.</li> <li>Significant experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and continuous integration tools.</li> <li>Significant experience in development on Windows/Linux platforms using multiple scripting tools and programming languages.</li> <li>Experience with Agile frameworks and source control systems, paired with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <h2>What We'd Like to See — Preferred Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Experience with DICOM, PACS, HL7, and IHE standards in a medical imaging or healthcare IT environment.</li> <li>Familiarity with Medical Digital Imaging Software and healthcare interoperability standards and workflows.</li> <li>Experience with performance testing, load testing, and non-functional test methodologies at an enterprise scale.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach team members, with a strong leadership presence in Agile/Scrum environments.</li> <li>Proven contributions to building or evolving shared test frameworks, test strategies, or quality engineering practices across multiple cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Experience with a blend of manual and automated testing and deep industry knowledge</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>About Hyland</h2> <p>Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation.</p> <p>Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, including many of the Fortune 100, Hyland's solutions create the foundation for a connected, agentic enterprise, where teams harness the power of AI to redefine how they operate and engage with those they serve.
