<p><b><u>Position Summary</u></b></p><p></p><p>Responsible for running any in club tournaments, including but not limited to USTA, Club Championships and other events.<span>  </span>Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and supervision of the tournament. Ensure that the tournament achieves or exceeds its revenue goal. Work with tournament desk team members to initiate, develop, and maintain personalized relationships with members. Provide an excellent customer service experience to encourage repeat business.<span>  </span>  </p><p></p><p><b><u>Job Duties and Responsibilities</u></b></p><ul><li>Owns all preparation work required for tournament. Including but not limited to, submiting tournament application, setting up tournament on designated website, promoting and marketing, handling all tournament registrations, uploading and updating completed draws for each tournament by designated time, creating tournament desk schedule and assign team member hours, and cooordinating court scheduling for tournament with Tennis Manager/Tennis Head Pro/Tennis Coordinator.</li><li>Responsible for achieving or exceeding tennis tournament revenue and CM goals. Actively manage expenses of tournaments, including tennis desk labor, tennis tournament officials, ordering supplies, while reducing or eliminating non-essential expenses. Recap tournament financials post event.</li><li>Leads and supervises during tournament/event as appropriate. Ensures all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition. Partners with additional Life Time departments as needed. Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns to ensure tournament participants will continue their involvement in our programs.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Position Requirements</u></b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and/or Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) certified</li><li>CPR and AED Certified within 30 days of hire</li><li>Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude</li><li>Thorough knowledge of the game of tennis and possesses effective teaching styles and techniques</li><li>Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills</li><li>Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members</li><li>Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds ​</li></ul><p></p><p><b>​ <u>Preferred Requirements</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Level Degree</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Life Time is a place for everyone.
