About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our team and lead the success of software development, maintenance, DevOps, and DBA initiatives. In this role, you will be a key enabler of delivery excellence—owning Agile processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that project milestones are met with quality and efficiency.

You will lead Agile ceremonies, resolve blockers, mentor junior team members, and serve as the bridge between technical execution and strategic reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile software development projects using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Track and manage progress across multiple ongoing projects (Dev, QA, DevOps, DBA).
  • Coordinate release planning, define project efforts (Dev and QA), and ensure target dates are met.
  • Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team performance.
  • Serve as a servant leader—motivating, mentoring, and guiding team members.
  • Shield the team from external distractions, ensuring focus and commitment to sprint goals.
  • Monitor team sentiment and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers and IT Directors to generate accurate project reports.
  • Own daily and weekly operations such as:
  • Effort and date tracking
  • Deviation calculations and reporting
  • Onboarding/offboarding management
  • Updating project tracking spreadsheets and Confluence pages
  • Sprint goal alignment and backlog clarity

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a Technical Project Manager role.
  • 2+ years in a Scrum Master role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Business Analyst experience or background with technical acumen.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate distributed software development teams.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced and dynamic delivery environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and project tracking spreadsheets.

Nice To Have

  • Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience with DevOps or cloud infrastructure teams.
  • Familiarity with reporting dashboards and delivery KPIs.
  • Prior experience managing cross-functional teams including QA, DBA, and infrastructure.
