Job Description

The Talent & Culture Manager will report directly to the HR Director – Germany and be a member of the German HR Management Team. This position can sit in Wiesbaden or Ludwigshafen. It is expected that the Talent & Culture manager will travel regularly between sites.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Talent Development

  • Coordination and execution of Talent Development initiatives aligned with Global and WEC
  • Manage HR development offerings for Germany, including all financial/billing/chargeback processes
  • Ensure administration activities for facilitations, trainings and workshops
  • Partner with Business HR in respective functions to understand learning and developments needs and provide local offerings and tailored talent development/ workshop solutions that are not part of the area and global curriculum and localize global/area offerings
  • Provide support to Business HR for Executive Coaching and Development assessment, partner with global Talent Development
  • Accountable and responsible for Onboarding programs – including New Employee Orientation (Welcome Day) and leadership onboarding
  • Partner with Business HR on program selection and communication (global talent programs) and coordinate central efforts
  • Partner with the works council on learning and development offerings

Culture

  • Partner with business and other stakeholders (ERGs, EED&I Council, external providers, Business HR) and execute and refresh (as needed) Equity Equality Diversity & Inclusion strategy
  • Serve as Lead coordinator for the AbbVie Way Ambassadors, partner closely with Global and Area AWA leadership
  • Responsible for all culture surveys, internal and external (i.e., Great Place to Work, AbbVie Employee Survey) - planning, execution, reporting and data analysis - in partnership with Business HR, manage Culture Audit for Great Place to Work (or Top Employers application based on business decision)
  • Own HR Communications incl. HR Portal content, and other local HR Comms support needed, collaborate closely with Corporate communications team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of HR, Talent or Learning Development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work with a diverse group of stakeholders across a matrix organization
  • Good interpersonal and group facilitation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills (German and English) 
  • Project Management ability
  • Good Excel, Power Point
