Job Overview: Consultant / Sr. Consultant, Medical Affairs at Red Nucleus partner with internal leadership and client organizations to develop and implement strategies that drive growth, improve efficiency, and achieve long-term objectives. This role involves analyzing market trends, assessing business performance, identifying opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations. Consultant / Sr. Consultant collaborate with senior leadership to design strategic plans, optimize operations, and support organizational transformation, while coaching and supporting junior team members. Responsibilities: • Develop client relationships by understanding their issues, providing solutions, preparing materials, and assisting with daily queries. • Support business strategy through research, analysis, project planning, and ensuring team deadlines are met. • Deliver strategic insights and solutions that drive business growth and innovation. • Analyze market trends, evaluate business models, and support clients in areas such as R&D strategy, commercialization, market access, and portfolio optimization. • Contribute to project success by delivering components of client solutions and supporting process improvement. • Conduct in-depth research on therapeutic areas, regulatory landscapes, and competitive positioning. • Analyze market dynamics, pricing strategies, and access barriers. • Analyzes data and client challenges, providing insights and potential solutions. • Makes decisions within own work and project scope; consults senior colleagues for broader implications. • Manage workstreams within larger projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts. • Manage approx. 1-2 projects. May lead small tasks or workstreams; begin coaching junior team members. • Contribute to white papers, industry reports, and client presentations. • Stay current on emerging trends in life sciences and healthcare policy. • Lead the development of medical affairs asset and organizational strategy • Contribute to the design and implementation of processes, procedures, and operating models • Serve as a trusted advisor for senior medical affairs and cross-functional leaders Education, Experience, Training, and Knowledge Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field required, MBA and/or PhD/PharmD/MD degree preferred Experience: • 2-5 years of experience in management consulting, life sciences strategy roles, or a relevant field.
