PAY RANGE The arenaflex Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. You’ll collaborate with teams across the organization to lead the design of data-driven solutions that empower better decision-making and elevate member experiences. Your ability to translate complex business needs into technical strategies, mentor others, and solve problems with a systems-thinking mindset will directly contribute to shaping the future of BECU’s business intelligence landscape. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Lead Data-Driven Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives and support strategic goals. • Act as a Strategic Liaison: Serve as the connection between business units and IT teams, translating complex needs into actionable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. • Mentor and Guide: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Business Information Analysts, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing across the team. • Identify Business Impacts: Evaluate how changes in systems, processes, or strategy impact teams and operations, guiding business units through these transitions. • Support Testing & Troubleshooting: Lead test planning, resolve technical bugs, and ensure the quality and functionality of BI solutions meet business requirements. • Champion BI Best Practices: Coordinate enterprise-wide data initiatives, ensuring alignment with BI standards and enterprise data management objectives. • Drive Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to existing BI solutions by leveraging your deep understanding of multiple systems and source data. • Be On-Call When Needed: Respond to emerging issues during non-business hours to ensure continuity of service and support. • Take on Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as needed to advance BECU’s data and analytics goals. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field – or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 7 years of experience delivering data and business intelligence solutions in complex environments. • Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, modeling, governance and visualization. relational database structures and languages. • A track record of applying structured problem-solving methods, identifying root causes, and implementing lasting solutions. • Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and Agile Methodology. • Proven ability to serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, delivering both strategic initiatives and operational solutions.
