The Senior Business Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our clients’ businesses by aligning business objectives with technology solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, technology, and industry best practices. The Senior Business Architect will collaborate with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to design and implement solutions that drive business value. Essential Duties • Develop well-formed functional and non-functional requirements using modern or traditional techniques from which the application development team members can develop new software solutions or modify existing application software solutions. • Provide and/or lead input to estimates. • Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes and identify areas for improvement. • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate designs, and gain consensus on business architecture decisions. • Provide role leadership, in the form of coaching/mentoring of associates and standards enforcement for project team members and practice consultants. • Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships. • Function in a scrum master/project manager/quality assurance capacity as a secondary marketable skill. • Train and mentor mainstream IT concepts, technologies, and methods/frameworks. • Develop detailed process models and workflows that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Lead initiatives to streamline business processes through the integration of technology solutions. • Ability to lead a team of analysts in larger scale project initiativesbydeveloping standards,setting analytics metrics and facilitation of requirements sessions and delivery to team and client. • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior business architects and other team members. Required Skills • 8-10 years of equivalent work experience required, as an established business architect. • Strong understanding of business process modeling, enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), and technology solutions. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Proficient in business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, UML). • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. • Solid understanding of various methodologies & frameworks (PMBOK, Agile, Traditional, SCRUM). • Experience with Agile projects. • Ability to be flexible on type of assignment (industry, framework, team size, scope, length of assignment, and location). • Comfortable giving and receiving open feedback and having difficult conversations with team members or clients. • Work with business users to solve business issues and identify opportunities for improved business solutions • TOGAF, Certified Business Architect (CBA), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or similar certifications • Continuous pursuit of professional development through certifications, training, or attending industry conferences.
