Position Summary: We are looking for a social media guru who excels at cultivating social media followings and promoting clients brands. This role will analyze engagement data, identify trends in customer interactions, support social content strategy and development, and plan digital campaigns to build communities online. Responsibilities: • Assist in developing and implementing social media content across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, in alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines. • Curate relevant content including posts, images, videos, and stories to enhance audience engagement and brand visibility. • Community engagement and management by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering positive interactions and addressing inquiries promptly. • Assist in the implementation protocols to ensure brand reputation is maintained and escalate issues as necessary. • Execute social media strategies developed by senior team members, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices. • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate content creation, approval, and scheduling, adhering to established timelines and quality standards. • Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance metrics and analyze campaign effectiveness, providing insights for optimization. • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in social media marketing, actively seeking opportunities for skill enhancement and professional growth. • Contribute to new business efforts for Spark including research, creating slides, and brainstorming new ideas • Successfully manage remote work, scheduling, and internal communications (email, Slack, team meetings, etc) • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times • Proactive self-starter who offers ideas and/or problem solves alongside the team • Proactively assume additional responsibilities that make tangible agency contributions • Assist in the implementation of paid social media campaigns, contributing to audience targeting, ad creation, and performance monitoring. Prerequisites • Understanding of content distribution channels for B2B and B2C brands and their associated metrics, specs, best practices, and requirements including media outlets, social media platforms, and ad platforms • Expertise in and enthusiasm for social media and community building online, including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, content development and metrics, and tools of the trade • Bachelor's degree • Ideal Experience: 2-4 years, previous agency experience is preferred • Proven competency in taking client needs and creating successful social media strategies and campaigns • Previous proven experience managing content and copy for a range of online mediums • Strong creative writing, researching, and editing skills • Willingness to handle executional work like ongoing content development and community management • Flexibility and comfort working with a remote team in a fast-paced, always-on, agency/start-up environment and schedule • Superb project and time management skills • Ability to work independently while maintaining constant communication with larger team and clients About Spark From startups to Fortune 20 members, Spark specializes in helping technology-focused and innovation-minded companies transform their brands by bringing powerful narratives to life through public relations and integrated marketing programs.
