About the Role

DashMart is looking for a people-focused leader that excels in fast-paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front. In this role you will be the on the ground leadership for launching new DashMart warehouse locations around Canada; Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, etc. You’ll spend two weeks at the site training, coaching, receiving inventory and setting up the new warehouse.

What You’ll Do

  • Training and coaching. Set up the new warehouse team to work safely and productively. Train new hires (both Associates and Managers) on operational processes and give them the confidence to run the full operation. Be a culture setter for new hires and set the tone for DoorDash.
  • Facility Set-up. Set up a 5k-10k sq foot warehouse including organizing the warehouse, tech equipment setup and representing DoorDash at Health Inspections.
  • Help improve operations. Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience. Make recommendations to the central team on how to improve future launchesReport out findings and share key risks with inventory and launch teams.
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks. Receive product from partners, place product in appropriate locations, prepare orders, help clean and organize work areas. You’ll do whatever it takes to delight our customers with a high-quality experience.
  • Delight Customers. Set up the site and teams to deliver orders smoothly and provide an amazing customer experience.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management and / or retail
  • Must have strong ownership mentality
  • Must have proficiency with spreadsheets
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
