Senior Project Manager Event Solutions (m/f/d)
-
temporary contract for two years due to parental leave replacement
Fulltime, located in Düsseldorf Area

As a Senior Project Manager of Event Solutions, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing live, hybrid, and virtual events and accompanying digital brand experience strategies. You independently manage extensive projects and lead multi-member project teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You are the link that connects everything: You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing large events. Live, hybrid, or virtual.
  • For our national and international customers, you are the first point of contact who proactively, profoundly, and passionately drives the constant exchange of information to all project team members and service providers. Your human nature inspires all involved trades to give their best and promotes open exchange.
  • You independently prepare meetings, budget rounds, and presentations and conduct them confidently on-site or virtually.
  • You are responsible for adhering to the budget and targets of your projects, coordinating the tendering process for service providers and trades, and bringing the right service partners on board.
  • When planning the schedule of our live, hybrid, or digital events, you consider the detailed interaction of different media and formats, the technical possibilities, the limitations, and the potential for digital assets without losing sight of the KPIs and the wholistic communication of the brand.
  • During the production of the events, you will ensure a smooth process and an unforgettable experience for all participants.
  • Through structured supervision, you'll provide technical direction and support to the project teams and educate our juniors.

YOU ARE GOOD AT
  • You have several years of professional experience as a project manager in an agency for digital events, live communication, or related industries. You have already gained profound insights into the planning, implementation, and accounting of medium and large projects.
  • Besides live formats, you have already organized digital or hybrid events, are tech-savvy, and can competently manage media production.
  • It is also an advantage if you have an excellent overview of the range of digital event platforms, video conferencing tools, live streaming providers, streaming studios, and digital tools for interactions, workshops, and breakout meetings and are familiar with social media components.
  • You can empathize with different audiences, correctly assess their technical expertise and needs when attending digital events, and adequately prepare them for participation.
  • You are authentic, convinced with your conscientious and independent way of working, can delegate, and confidently assess when you need to get support on board.
  • With a high level of commitment, you sometimes work on several projects and in different teams simultaneously and still don't lose your overview, sense of the right priorities, and most importantly, your sense of humor and good mood.
  • We want someone highly proficient in both German and English languages (verbally and in writing). Any additional European language, such as French or Italian, would be of added value.
