This is a senior Site Reliability Engineering role at a Tier-1 North American telecommunications provider. The team maintains the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environment underpinning internal finance, procurement, and operational business processes. This is the most experience-intensive of the four SRE roles - the mandate requires a hands-on EBS administrator with deep Oracle DBA background and direct GoldenGate experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments end-to-end
  • Perform EBS installation, cloning, upgrades, and patching using ADOP, ADADMIN, and CPU/PSU patch management
  • Manage online patching workflows and dual file system administration (fs1 / fs2)
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Concurrent Managers, Workflow Engine, Forms, Reports, and OAF
  • Analyze and resolve WebLogic and JVM performance and stability issues
  • Administer Oracle database environments (9i through 19c) supporting EBS applications
  • Configure and support Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and migration (required)
  • Perform RMAN backup and recovery operations integrated with CommVault and/or NetApp
  • Support disaster recovery design, planning, and implementation for EBS environments
  • Train and mentor junior DBAs on Oracle EBS administration and troubleshooting techniques

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience with EBS application in production environments
  • Hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 administration: ADOP, ADADMIN, online patching, dual file systems
  • Oracle GoldenGate experience - required; candidates without this will not advance
  • RMAN backup/recovery with CommVault and/or NetApp integration
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Concurrent Managers, WebLogic, JVM, and OAF
  • Oracle database proficiency across multiple versions (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c)
  • Expertise in Data Guard, performance tuning, and database security
  • Shell scripting capability; PERL scripting is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field
  • Previous exposure to hybrid on-premises/cloud environments is desirable

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
