You will diagnose and resolve issues across distributed backend systems built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating closely with Client Support and GTM teams to maintain SLA compliance. The role demands rapid execution, strong React frontend experience, and the ability to take ownership across multiple concurrent projects.<br><br><b>WHAT YOU WILL DO</b><br>- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to live hiring events and platform functionality;<br>- Diagnose problems across distributed systems, integrations, and event workflows;<br>- Collaborate closely with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and resolve support tickets efficiently;<br>- Ensure timely issue resolution in accordance with established SLAs;<br>- Monitor production systems and respond quickly to alerts, incidents, or performance degradation;<br>- Maintain and update event logic as platform dependencies and integrations evolve;<br>- Contribute to architecture improvements, backend reliability, and system scalability initiatives;<br>- Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision;<br>- Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows;<br>- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and operational support across multiple projects.<br><br><b>MUST HAVES</b><br>- <b>5+ years of professional software engineering experience</b>;<br>- Strong backend development experience with <b>Java</b> and <b>Spring Boot</b>;<br>- Strong backend development experience with <b>Python</b> and <b>Django</b>;<br>- Strong frontend experience with <b>React</b>;<br>- Experience working with <b>Kafka</b>, <b>GraphQL</b>, and <b>SQL</b> and/or <b>MongoDB</b>;<br>- Experience with build systems, <b>CI/CD pipelines</b>, and deployment processes;<br>- Proven ability to ramp up quickly and take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously;<br>- Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues in live environments;<br>- Experience with at least one of the following: <b>Dagster</b>, <b>Data Lakes</b>, or <b>Amazon Athena</b>;<br>- Strong debugging and data-analysis skills for investigating production incidents;<br>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;<br>- Upper-intermediate English level.<br><br><b>NICE TO HAVES</b><br>- Product Management experience or close collaboration with GTM and Engineering teams on prioritization initiatives;<br>- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as <b>Claude</b>, <b>Cursor</b>, or <b>Windsurf</b>;<br>- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams in high-growth environments.<br><br><b>PERKS AND BENEFITS</b><br>- <b>Professional growth</b>: Mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps.<br>- <b>Competitive compensation</b>: USD-based pay with education, fitness, and team activity budgets.<br>- <b>Exciting projects</b>: Modern solutions with Fortune 500 and top product companies.<br>- <b>Flextime</b>: Flexible schedule with remote and office options.<br><br>
