We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator with at least 8 years of experience and expertise in managing and optimizing various database technologies along with a strong background in database migration and conversion. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, automation, and the ability to seamlessly migrate data between various database in On-Premise and to the Cloud.

Your tasks will include: Essential skills:
  • Administering and optimizing database systems on Windows and Linux using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL
  • Installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and patching databases
  • Deploying and troubleshooting High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Familiar with different Backups & Recovery solutions and third-party database backup utilities
  • Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime
Desired skills:
  • Implement maintenance improvement and automation focus
  • Perform regular database performance tuning and optimization activities
  • Working with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure), Performing design evaluations/ recommendations for database migration strategies to the cloud
  • Programming/scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
  • Writing complex SQL queries on customer data to provide reports needed
  • Conceiving and implementing professional/technical training courses for internal employees
Your profile should include:
  • Successful completion of Computer Science or Information Technology studies for system integration, with relevant years of professional experience
  • Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certification or Microsoft Certification
  • Excellent knowledge of backend database systems in enterprise architectures
  • High teamwork and communication skills, reliability and an independent way of working and willingness to support the team
  • At least 8 years of professional experience
