You may download the Rehire Review Form HERE What you get to do: As an ambassador on this team, you’ll deliver exceptional guest service while providing guests with product information and upselling when appropriate. Ensure excellent guest service by responding to guest requests, expectations, and needs. Work in a fast paced environment with high guest interaction needs. Greet and interact with guests. Answer questions and resolve guest issues.. Sets up merchandise displays and arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Assist guests with product information. Assist guests with selecting merchandise items to purchase. Obtains merchandise requested by guests or receives merchandise selected by guests. Ensure merchandise is properly and accurately price marked. Help stock and maintain inventory levels of retail merchandise. Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the work environment. Provide Park information, such as: directions in the park to shows, exhibits, etc.; attraction availability; department product availability and promotions. Suggestive sells items to guests and employees. Pours alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Follow proper cash handling procedures May Conduct Wine Tastings while educating guests on the characteristics of the different wines, their history, region, etc. depending on location assigned Suggestively encourage the sale of a tasting, trio sampling, glass, or bottle sale. Maintain wine inventory on sales floor and back stock notifying supervisor of needs for wines and production supplies. Keep wine testing area clean and organized Totals bill and accepts payment Serves alcohol in compliance with company’s policy Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and our Guests Stationary standing and repetitive motion for 2-3 hours at a time. Perform other duties as assigned. Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed. Availability Part-Time Ambassadors: Non-Peak: Must have 3 days of unrestricted availability (10 continuous hrs. within operating hours for the area) to include 1 weekend day and holidays. Peak: Must have at least 3 days of unrestricted availability (12 continuous hrs. within the operating hours for the area) to include 1 weekend day and holidays. What it takes to succeed: Must be at least 21 years old Certification requirement: Candidate must have the ability to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification through the SeaWorld training process. Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English. High School Diploma / GED preferred Must be able to obtain a California Alcohol Server License Must be outgoing and professional, with the ability to become knowledgeable about wine; including sampling and learning characteristics of different wines, history, region, etc. Must be able to remain standing for up to eight hours Knowledge of Alcohol policies, company policy and CA state laws.
