This program prepares registered nurses to work in their chosen specialty upon completion. </p><p>Designed for RNs working outside of ICU or ED interested in advancing into these areas, the program provides exposure through guided shadow shifts in the emergency department and adult intensive care units. Participants must maintain their current position during the fellowship and can apply to their preferred specialty afterward. </p><b>Eligibility Criteria: </b><br> <ul><li>RN has successfully completed current unit orientation requirements </li><li>Unit Manager recommendation/approval </li><li>RN has completed all educational requirements (OLAs, required classes) </li><li>RN has at least 6 months experience on their home unit </li><li>No performance or attendance concerns </li><li>No corrective actions within the last year </li><br> </ul><b>Program Requirements: </b><ul><li>Maintain scheduled hours on home unit </li><li>Complete all 9 shadow shifts within <b>6-12 months</b> </li><li>Complete the Transition to Critical Care Class </li><li>Attend all scheduled meetings with ICU/ED educators and managers </li><li>Complete Critical Care Fellowship Orientation Packet </li><br> </ul><p>After completing the Fellowship, RNs may apply for open positions in adult ICUs and EDs. </p><p>Note: The actual salary offered may vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. </p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
