Job Description We, at Turing, are looking for talented remote Shopify developers who will be responsible for building an e-commerce store, sourcing products, and managing inventory on the Shopify platform. Key responsibilities - Design and develop an online Shopify e-commerce store - Create new Shopify themes and customize the existing templates - Collaborate with UX and UI design teams to develop robust, and innovative user experiences - Ensure connectivity with platform APIs, marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize performance - Perform regular testing and debugging of the applications - Optimize the Shopify store for better conversion rates Basic Requirements - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience) - At least 3+ years of experience as a Shopify developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers) - Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - Experience working with Ruby on Rails, PHP, JSON, and REST APIs - Expertise in creating web designs and user interfaces (UI) - Expertise in developing payment gateways and inventories - Experience working with arenaflex Analytics - Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers - Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones About Turing.com Turing’s mission is to unleash the world’s untapped human potential.
