Location: Avera Long Term Care Pharmacy Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. A Brief Overview Develops relationships with facility administration and staff by educating them regarding the services and support that Pharmacy can provide to their facility and their patients. Supports transition of care resulting in an increase in customer satisfaction with Avera Long-Term Care pharmacy. The RN-Program Development Representative is responsible for fostering customer retention through development of business communication relationships; delivery of support documentation, and providing education. Supports day-to-day activities associated with the sales and delivery of customer prescriptions to facilities and clinical outcome reporting activities. Responsible for support and education on pharmacy's IV program. What you will do Facilitates relationship building that targets facility business and nursing leadership to gain commitment for an appropriate business and clinical relationship with Avera Long-Term Care Pharmacy. Responsible to have a basic organizational knowledge of the structure of Avera Health System and a comprehensive understanding of Avera Long-Term Care Pharmacy in order that educational interactions can be conducted. Collects and reports facility/pharmacy information to facility and/or pharmacy management in an appropriate manner with disciplined confidentiality and in accordance with Avera policy. Works directly with the Pharmacy operations team and Long-Term Care Pharmacy Manager and the marketing staff to meet promotional and advertising needs. Introduces service lines and new products to facility business and nursing leadership in order to compete for contracted services. Responsible for timely completion and communication of customer contact activity. Acts as a resource and assists both facility and pharmacy to evaluate quality or clinical needs. Promotes patient safety through quality management which may include performing mock surveys and reviews of facility nursing practices and providing troubleshooting feedback. Develops and/or presents educational material for facility staff on various clinical topics. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
