ABOUT OUR SCHOOLS AND POSITION:
The California Virtual Academies (a network of 9 public charter schools), iQ Academy, Los Angeles and Insight Schools of California (a network of 3 public charter schools) deliver online/virtual home based instruction to TK-12 students in California. While our schools do offer some scheduling flexibility, students are still required to complete approximately 4-6 hours of coursework daily & log attendance (entered by their parent/learning coach and verified by the teacher).

The mission of California Virtual Academy is to provide an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students by incorporating school and community/family partnerships coupled with a rigorous curriculum along with a data-driven and student-centered instructional model. Student success will be measured by valid and reliable assessment data, parent and student satisfaction, and continued institutional growth within the academic community.

The Recruiting Specialist plays a critical support role in the hiring process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professionalism in all recruiting activities. This position requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow structured processes while communicating effectively with applicants, leadership, and internal HR teams. The ideal candidate will be self-reliant in task execution but capable of collaborating as needed. This role ensures that documentation, communications, and procedures align with best hiring practices and company policies.
