Location: Chandler, Arizona

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday (Flexible hours: 7:00–3:30, 7:30–4:00, or 8:00–4:30)

Pay: $44,000 - $51,000 DOE (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role:
C.E. Precision Assemblies, a Trexon company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and services - ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers
  • Request quotes and process purchase orders accurately
  • Track, follow up, and expedite orders to ensure timely receipt of materials
  • Procure tools, BOM items, and equipment as required
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Maintain and update production and material tracking spreadsheets
  • Collaborate with Receiving to confirm deliveries
  • Coordinate with suppliers on documentation, RMA processes, and issue resolution
  • Support miscellaneous projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of procurement or logistics experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; comfortable with data entry and basic data analysis
  • Able to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving
  • Capable of working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a positive and cooperative work atmosphere.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks based on evolving operational needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Proficient use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers, etc.)
  • Clear communication skills (verbal and written) across departments and with external partners
