Job Description

Role Title: Project Assistant (Ecommerce / Shopify)

Location: Remote - LATAM

Reports to: Project Management Lead


About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant (Ecommerce / Shopify) to support our Project Management team. This role is designed to reduce execution overhead for Project Managers by owning repeatable, process-driven tasks across ecommerce projects. You will play a critical role in improving task hygiene, delivery consistency, and backend execution—while PMs focus on strategy, scope management, and client relationships. This is not a client-facing strategy role. It is an execution and coordination role with strong growth potential for high performers.


What You'll Do
  • Administrative & Coordination Support
  • Schedule client meetings and send calendar invites
  • Coordinate launch timelines and reminders (Slack, ClickUp, Calendar)
  • Follow up on overdue tasks and report status to PMs
  • Ensure tasks are assigned to the correct owners (including QA)
  • Send templated client progress notifications (e.g., content live, delays)
  • Shopify & Content Execution
  • Build and maintain content mapping sheets
  • Gather and organize client-provided assets
  • Upload and update content in Shopify (products, collections, pages, menus, metafields)
  • Set up redirects, tagging, and basic backend configurations
  • Ensure live theme content matches approved updates
  • Task Hygiene & QA Support
  • Clean up completed ClickUp tasks
  • Monitor design and development progress
  • Flag blockers or skipped QA steps
  • Conduct checklist-based implementation reviews
  • Support structured documentation efforts
  • Documentation & Research Support
  • Draft documentation using templates
  • Summarize Figma comments
  • Conduct structured research tasks
  • Take detailed notes during sprint or client calls

What We're Looking For
Required Experience
  • 2+ years in a virtual assistant, ecommerce operations, or project support role
  • Hands-on Shopify backend experience
  • Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, etc.)
  • Strong written English communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Nice to Have
  • Agency experience
  • Familiarity with Figma
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders simultaneously
