The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and agile Part Time Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. In this role, you will drive operational excellence by providing visibility into key business areas through the creation of dynamic systems. Our data exists. Your job will be to help us to make it digestible and to extract key insights from which we can make strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with financial basics, numbers, and a variety of software and productivity tools to provide us with a higher level of visibility into the financial KPI's of the practice. You are highly motivated, process oriented, posses a systems mindset, digitally savvy, a technology native and have a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Develop and Maintain Insightful Dashboards: Design and build visually engaging dashboards and reports that help the founder and leadership team identify trends, measure performance, and make data-informed strategic decisions. • Advance Data-Driven Operations: Provide visibility into key operational, clinical, and financial areas of the business through clear summaries, visualizations, and analysis that drive operational excellence and accountability. • Champion Business Intelligence Initiatives: Lead the effort to establish and refine Chatterboxes’ business intelligence framework, ensuring the organization gains deeper visibility into performance metrics across departments. • Build Redundancy and Operational Support: Cross-train with the Operations Specialist to understand core business processes and create redundancy within that role, providing reliable backup support as needed. • Analyze and Model Data: Use arenaflex Sheets and related tools to construct financial and operational models, forecast trends, and support decision-making for staffing, scheduling, and growth initiatives. • Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity: Design and implement a system of checks and balances to verify the accuracy of payroll, billing, and related data, leveraging existing information sources to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Execute Special Projects: Collaborate with leadership on ad hoc projects and analyses that arise in daily operations, applying curiosity, analytical rigor, and initiative to deliver actionable insights. Requirements • Experience: • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, operations, or a related role. • Proven ability to translate raw data into clear insights and recommendations that inform business decisions. • Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency with arenaflex Sheets (including complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data validation). • Competence with data cleaning and manipulation—comfortable structuring messy data and ensuring accuracy across sources. • Basic understanding of financial modeling and operational metrics (e.g., revenue per clinician, utilization, arenaflex analysis). • Working knowledge of arenaflex Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Monday, Slack, etc) • Soft Skills: • Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to see the bigger picture. • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-changing environment, willing to dive into ambiguous problems and figure things out. • Excellent communication skills, able to explain data insights clearly to non-technical audiences. • Collaborative, curious, and energized by the idea of helping a mission-driven business grow.
