The Basics : Tanium is adding to its world-class accounting and finance organization and is looking for a top-notch Order Operations Manager to join our internationally expanding team. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high-growth, dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an interdisciplinary position which is responsible for global order management, billing, licensing and compliance, and cash collections. In this position, you will partner closely with Deal Desk, Center of Excellence, Revenue, Global Sales, Field Operations, and Tax, as well as our finance teams. What you'll do : • You will be the first Order Operations hire in EMEA and will eventually build out the Order Operations team that will serve the EMEA and APAC regions • Consult and collaborate with Deal Desk and Revenue on non-standard contract terms to ensure orders are processed completely, accurately, and in compliance with the company’s bookings and standard policy and revenue recognition guidelines • Reconcile monthly bookings and billings reports for management reporting • Responsible for all aspects of order management for EMEA and APAC regions, including new partner and customer setup, sales order creation, invoice processing using NetSuite and SFDC, and fulfillment including access to our hosted solution and provisioning of license keys • Establish strong relationships with Sales, Deal Desk, Center of Excellence, Technical Account Management, Tax, Legal, and Revenue departments and become subject matter expert in regards to order management • Work with business users and cross-functional teams to identify problems, process gaps and assist in on-going process improvements on order processing, deal closure, invoicing, and collections workflows. • Propose reasonable and creative solutions to improve workflows based on quantitative and qualitative analysis • Assist with creation and preparation of schedules and ad hoc reports regarding key metrics for management review • Assist with Billing and Collections to resolve all invoicing issues in a timely manner We're looking for someone with : • Education • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred • Experience • Management experience preferred • Experience working at a software or subscription-based company highly preferred • Salesforce and NetSuite experience a plus • Working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.) • Other • A team player who excels at building relationships across the organization while adhering to tight deadlines with a positive demeanor • Demonstrates initiative and motivation • Attention to detail and ability to proactively manage his or her own work streams as needed • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment • Ability to investigate and analyze problems using good judgment and determine solutions to resolve issues • Eagerness to learn • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Person of high ethics and integrity Apply tot his job
