Job Description

Carnival UK is in search of an On Board Revenue Concessions Manager (9 Month FTC), who is crucial in supporting our organisational direction and nurturing a high-performing team.

Role Overview

Carnival UK is seeking a commercially driven Onboard Revenue (OBR) Concessions Manager to take ownership of driving Photo revenue across the iconic P&O Cruises and Cunard brands.

Your primary mission is to drive revenue growth and elevate the guest experience by managing a high-value third-party partnership. A key focus of this 9-month fixed term contract will be taking ownership of the Photo category, ensuring our photo experiences and propositions are innovative, brand-aligned, and high-performing.

It would be extremely beneficial if candidates had experience in the following areas:

  • Management of photo concessions and delivering photo experiences.
  • Strong B2B relationship management skills.
  • A background in concessions management, ideally within photo services or similar environments.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Strategic Growth: Execute the annual business plan to maximise sales and meet ambitious revenue and KPI targets.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary lead for Photo concession partner, nurturing senior-level relationships to ensure operational excellence.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor P&L and trading results, identifying trends and implementing tactical interventions to address underperformance.
  • Brand Alignment: Collaborate with Brand and Guest Experience teams to ensure photo services and events resonate with our diverse guest demographics.
  • Project Leadership: Support onboard refurbishments, elevation projects, and the rollout of new commercial marketing initiatives.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK7, offered as a full-time position, on a 9-month fixed-term basis, we offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership

We are looking for a proactive leader who can work with high independence in a fast-paced environment. To be successful, the following would be beneficial:

Commercial Acumen: A strong background in budget management, revenue forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

Relationship Mastery: Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders both shoreside and across our fleet.

Photo concessions expertise: experience in managing photo services is highly desirable.

Agility: The ability to manage complex projects and move quickly to capitalise on market opportunities.

  • Managing a large concession business partner, ideally within B2B environment

  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of event and marketing activity to support driving sales
