We are looking for an exceptional Offensive Security Intern to support security assessments and internal research initiatives.

As an Offensive Security Intern, you won't just learn tools-you'll learn how attackers think. You will support real-world security assessments while developing the mindset, methodologies, and technical foundations required for offensive security work.

Application Details: This is a 6-month internship expected to average 20–25 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $15–$20 USD per hour, depending on relevant experience. The internship will begin in May as part of our Summer 2026 Cohort and is designed to run for six months, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with Senior Security Analysts to conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on client networks, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Research and analyze security vulnerabilities and exploit techniques to develop proof-of-concept demonstrations and attack scenarios.
  • Assist in the development and execution of network and web application penetration tests to simulate real-world cyber attacks and identify weaknesses in security measures.
  • Document findings and recommendations in comprehensive technical reports and presentations for clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, attack techniques, and defensive strategies through ongoing training and self-study.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of offensive security methodologies and tools used by the team.
  • Collaborate with a multinational, remote-first team and network with cybersecurity professionals across disciplines
  • Build foundational knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Learn offensive security methodologies, workflows, and ethical standards.
  • Contribute to thought leadership efforts such as blogs, community engagement, and conference participation.
  • Continuously improve your skills and knowledge in the offensive security and adversarial simulation space.


Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong interest in offensive security, ethical hacking, and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with common security assessment tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ethical mindset and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all activities.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (8 AM–5 PM CST, Monday–Friday).
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Academic or personal experience with Labs (TryHackMe, Hack the Box)
  • Posses or working towards an offensive security related certification or certifications
  • Programming and scripting basic with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
