Overview: We are a busy, patient-centered family practice in Surrey seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Scribe for transcribing medical reports based on patient encounters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate care.

Duties: -

  • Accurately document patient encounters in real time, including medical reports, visit summaries, assessments, and patient histories based on physician–patient interactions.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed promptly, thoroughly, and in accordance with clinic standards.
  • Review and edit notes for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and appropriate medical terminology.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with the physician to clarify clinical information and ensure complete records.
  • Provide additional administrative and documentation support as needed to enhance physician efficiency and overall clinic workflow.

Requirements: - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Strong typing skills and attention to detail. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your transcription skills to support patient care and medical documentation. Proficiency in English and Punjabi is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
