Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><u><b>Your New Role…</b></u><br />This position is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns for priority DC publishing titles across all channels, including Direct, Book, Mass, Library, Academic, and International markets. The position leads cross‑promotional initiatives with internal teams and external partners and provides strategic support to DC’s distribution partners to maximize title visibility and sales.</p><p></p><p><u><b>Your Role Accountabilities…</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Partner with the Director, Marketing in the development, management, and execution of all marketing plans for the Direct, Book, Mass, Library, and International markets. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Editorial, Digital, Social, and Publicity teams to ensure marketing plans are strategic, holistic, and aligned with sales and audience‑growth goals.. Regularly present marketing plans and post-mortems to all project stakeholders. </p></li><li><p>Manage and oversee the development of marketing support materials and marketing campaigns for priority projects (i.e. periodicals, graphic novels, collected editions), including but not limited to commercials/trailers, print ads, physical and digital promotional items, social media graphics/posts, online advertising assets, catalogs, title information sheets, samplers and more. Partner with distribution partners to ensure all marketing requirements are fulfilled.</p></li><li><p>Manage DC’s trade show booth and marketing presence (physical and/or virtual), in coordination with the Manager, Events. Partner with the Sales team to support participation at trade meeting events. Support DC’s presence at consumer conventions with corresponding marketing campaigns and promotional items.</p></li><li><p>Partner with the Director, Marketing to ensure all expenses remain within budget. Provide marketing budget estimates and rationale as part of the Greenlight process.</p></li><li><p>Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team by setting goals and priorities, providing clear direction, delivering ongoing feedback, and ensuring team members execute against all marketing plans and deliverables. Manage and Perform other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Qualifications & Experience…</b></u></p><ul><li><p>At least six (6) years of experience in publishing, marketing, and/or sales required.</p></li><li><p>At least two (2) years of experience in comic book publishing required.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading and managing teams is strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.</p></li><li><p>Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders (such as vendors.)</p></li><li><p>Must have the ability to successfully work in a team environment and interact with other people.</p></li><li><p>Must have the ability to organize, work well under time constraints, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and project elements simultaneously.</p></li><li><p>Must have the ability to pay close attention to details and handle confidential material.</p></li><li><p>Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud software (such as Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign) required.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of DC core comic book mythologies, characters, terminology, and IP strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of publishing and the comic book industry preferred.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to travel as needed approximately 15% of the time.</p></li><li><p>Must have the flexibility to respond to occasional off-hours (nights and weekends) business needs.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><span>How We Get Things Done…</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>This last bit is probably the most important! Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $73,500.00 - $136,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
