Involves providing courteous and efficient package delivery, sorting and collection services and ensure the delivery of packages by completing necessary paperwork and recording shipments in accordance with FedEx Express service standards.

General Job Description
Under general guidance completes the following tasks:
• Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages and documents, while representing the company in a professional manner.
• Operates non-articulated vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with all governmental and Corporate procedures.
• Accomplishes accurate and timely selection and inspection of assigned packages and the subsequent reporting of stop counts and miss-sorts.
• Seeks additional business from current customers, attempts to gain new business (passes leads to sales department), and informs sales department of significant changes in customer use/competitor’s actions.
• Answers customer questions on FedEx feature of service and keeps customers informed about the company and its services.
• Ensures that packages conform to FedEx features of service; that proper labeling in provided; and that all paperwork is complete, neat, and accurate.
• Determines legality of packages including special requirements for dangerous goods and international shipments and separates packages by service type and destination in accordance with established procedures.
• Scans packages according to prescribed procedures and demonstrates proficiency in features of service and equipment.
• Ensures customers have adequate supply of FedEx materials for shipping.
• Loads and unloads aircraft, containers, and company vehicles and operates mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages.
• Cleans, washes, and performs minor maintenance to company vehicles as necessary and maintains neat and clean personal appearance to uphold company’s public image.
• Provides and collects necessary paperwork related to package pickup and delivery, such as air waybills, shipping records, vehicle condition, tax invoices with clarity and accuracy.
• Ensures the security of FedEx Express and customer property such as cash, packages, equipment and hazardous material.
• Collects tax invoices from delivered shipments that must be processed by customs authorities (when necessary).
• May require other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:

• High School diploma/Equivalent preferred
• Basic English skills preferred

Minimum Experience:
• One (1) year of experience driving 3.5 ton. trucks
• Must possess appropriate license for vehicle assigned in accordance with specific country regulations
• Good driving record   
• Must be 21 years old or older

Minimum Required Skills:
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. (25kgs) and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs. (68kgs) with appropriate equipment
• Good verbal and writing communication skills, human relations, and team player
• Must be able to successfully complete Reading, Map Reading, Sorting, and math sections of the Basic Skills Test
