About the position

We’re looking for a highly organized, creative Livestream Producer to lead the day-to-day execution and optimization of our live shopping shows across Whatnot, eBay Live, and future TikTok Shop programming. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to delivering engaging, conversion-driven live experiences that bring brand-partnered, in-season inventory to life. Our company partners directly with brands to reintroduce returned, overstock, and deadstock items back into the market. Every piece is cleaned, QA’d, and ready-to-wear, giving customers access to high-quality fashion and home goods at exceptional value. Your work will help connect storytelling, community, and commerce in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce live shopping shows from pre-show prep through post-show wrap, including run-of-show, product sequencing, pacing, flash sales, and engagement moments.
  • Lead pre-show alignment with hosts on inventory details, key talking points, and platform tools.
  • Direct hosts on-camera during live shows to ensure clear storytelling, strong product demos, and consistent pacing.
  • Troubleshoot live issues in real time, including inventory mismatches, duplicate listings, platform glitches, or flow disruptions, while maintaining a positive viewer experience.
  • Lead and coordinate livestream hosts and moderators during live shows, providing real-time direction and support.
  • Coach hosts and moderators on best practices to improve engagement, flow, and consistency.
  • Partner with the Director of Social Commerce on hiring support, scheduling, and performance feedback for live talent.
  • Support the growth of GMV, units sold, and ASP by optimizing show structure, pacing, inventory flow, and on-air storytelling.
  • Share insights and recommendations to improve show structure, pacing, inventory flow, and on-air storytelling.
  • Support initiatives to scale livestream programming, increase show volume, and improve overall performance in partnership with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with Marketplace, Product Ops, Social, and Marketing teams to resolve pre-show and in-show issues.
  • Collaborate with Social Media and Marketing partners on supporting content such as promos, highlights, and post-show recaps.
  • Ensure livestreams follow established brand, creative, and production standards across platforms.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience producing livestreams, digital content, or live commerce experiences for e-commerce or retail brands.
  • Strong working knowledge of Whatnot, eBay Live, TikTok Shop, or similar livestream platforms.
  • Experience directing on-camera talent and coordinating moderators or support teams during live shows.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting live inventory, technical, and flow issues in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with an eye for conversion-driven content.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and apply learnings.
  • Passion for fashion, branding, and the future of live shopping.
