ABOUT THE JOB

The Production Planner Junior coordinates the production schedule to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and ensure on-time delivery. This role coordinates across departments—including supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and sales—to balance inventory levels, capacity, and lead times. The Planner uses forecasting data, sales trends, and production capabilities to

create efficient and achievable schedules while minimizing costs and ensuring high service levels.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and forecasted demand.

2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources needed for production.

3. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.

4. Collaborate with production team to identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.

5. Analyze production data and make recommendations for process improvements or efficiency enhancements.

6. Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.

7. Understand customer priorities and align with production to ensure company is meeting customer expectations

8. Process and manage all order launched in SAP ERP and manages backlog report

9. Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving on incoming orders and deliveries as requested by the customer

10. Collaborate and communicate with departments to ensure finished goods are flowing to shipping area

11. Collects all data necessary for invoice packages on outgoing orders

12. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and critical deadlines


EDUCATION AND/OR SKILLS:

1. High School or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or any related fields.

2. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

3. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

4. Proficient in using scheduling software, MS Office application and SAP Production.

5. Proven experience as a production scheduler or in a similar role is preferable.

6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

7. Ability to learn and adapt to various operating systems and software

8. Excellent attention to detail.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.


PHYSICAL DEMAND:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5.30pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.


TRAVEL

Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.


PHYSICAL DEMAND:


Limited physical demand may be needed. Physical demands will involve standing, walking, and occasionally moving or lifting material.


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:


This is a full-time position, with business core hours of Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm. As an exempt employee, you will be required to work additional hours to support business demands.
