About the position

In this role, you will deliver enterprise‑level impact by shaping how Lam designs, governs, and executes financial processes during large‑scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations. You will influence finance architecture decisions, define future‑state designs, and ensure business continuity, compliance, and financial integrity across global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Finance & Controlling solution design for ECC‑to‑S/4HANA transformations and other complex initiatives.
  • Drive end‑to‑end S/4HANA migration strategy, including system conversion, process redesign, and new implementations.
  • Define future‑state finance architecture using S/4HANA capabilities such as Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and embedded analytics.
  • Partner with Internal Audit, Cybersecurity, and IT to ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and strong internal controls.
  • Evaluate and optimize current systems to improve efficiency and leverage technology.
  • Support state and local indirect tax projects (e.g., sales/use tax reviews, transaction analysis, audit defense, nexus planning, voluntary disclosures).
  • Implement and support tax technology tools such as Vertex, CorpTax, and similar platforms.
  • Design, configure, and optimize SAP FICO modules with emphasis on Product Costing and Cost Object Controlling in manufacturing environments.
  • Serve as the functional expert for integrations across FICO, SD, MM, and PP.
  • Collaborate with global partners across Europe, India, and the U.S.Guide integration with external systems including FP&A platforms, SAP RAR, tax engines, and financial close tools.
  • Own financial data migration strategy and execution with focus on accuracy, reconciliation, and auditability.
  • Partner with senior Finance and IT leaders to translate business needs into scalable system designs.Lead testing, issue resolution, and go‑live readiness for enterprise finance processes.
  • Direct and mentor project teams to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive SAP FICO experience across ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Deep expertise in manufacturing finance, product costing, External Tax Engine (Vertex) and controlling processes.
  • Proven experience designing and governing cross‑module SAP solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Strong ability to influence senior business and IT stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP certification in FICO and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience leading global SAP rollouts or multi‑region implementations.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration and data migration tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises integration technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).
