The Opportunity

You will join an innovative and high-performing Sales Operations team, focused on building a more effective and efficient sales organisation to drive accelerated growth and deliver an exceptional client experience. The team’s mission is to support sales and client-facing colleagues by operationalising sales enablement activities and continuously improving processes and performance. As a Lead Associate within GB Sales Operations, you will play a key role in supporting WTW’s Health, Wealth & Career (HWC) segment in Great Britain. Working closely with both global and local stakeholders, you will contribute to sales enablement initiatives, operational excellence, and client experience improvements. The role combines data analysis, project management, process optimisation, and campaign execution across the full sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, analytical, and proactive, with a strong understanding of sales operations and related tools.

Strategic Business Partnership & Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate with GB HWC and Sales Operations leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable operational plans. 
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. 
  • Coordinate planning and communication between Global, European, and local sales teams. 
  • Work closely with Marketing and HWC leadership to develop, execute, and track sales campaigns and events. 

Data Analysis & Performance Insights

  • Analyse sales data and metrics to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with analytics teams to develop dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reports that deliver actionable insights to sales leaders and client teams.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales and pipeline performance, conversion rates, velocity, and campaign ROI.
  • Manage top-end opportunities to ensure appropriate leadership awareness and support, increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes.

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain and improve data accuracy for HWC GB in CRM.
  • Support CRM data hygiene efforts aligned to HWC GB priorities.
  • Train and guide sales teams on CRM best practices to ensure consistent usage and reporting accuracy.

Campaign & Project Management

  • Lead the coordination and execution of sales campaigns, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through. 
  • Support marketing with priority client targeting, registration tracking, and engagement metrics for campaigns such as webinars or conferences. 
  • Oversee post-event lead management, ensuring leads are allocated to appropriate senior sellers, sending reminders, and monitoring follow-up and conversion rates. 
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on campaign activities and successes.

Delivery of global sales enablement processes:

  • Drive cross-business account management initiatives for priority clients, identify growth actions, and report progress to leadership. 
  • Coordinate independent client review interviews for priority clients to elevate client experience, identify growth opportunities, and protect revenue. 
  • Ensure HWC leverages the Client at Risk process to identify, track, and report on revenue at risk scenarios.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Sales Operations, Continuous Improvement/Excellence, Project Management, or Business Operations roles.
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed environment is highly valued.
  • Comfortable working with CRM platforms and data-driven processes.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau is considered a plus.
