This person will be a key leader on the art team, working closely with project leadership to establish a world-class art culture and robust art pipelines.</p><p></p><p>This role includes managing internal artists and overseeing external partners, including outsourcing and co-dev relationships, to deliver high-quality art for an online multiplayer RPG. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled artist, a proven leader, and an expert in managing AAA art production.</p><p></p><p><b>What part will you play?</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead and mentor the internal art team to deliver high-quality art that aligns with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">project, fostering</span> a collaborative and productive environment.</p></li><li><p>Build relationships with external partners and internal partner studios, to ensure art assets meet all technical and aesthetic requirements.</p></li><li><p>Work with leadership to define, document, and maintain the art pipeline.</p></li><li><p>Champion a high standard of artistic excellence, providing clear and constructive feedback to both internal and external teams.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the Art Director, Design Director, and Technical Art to ensure all art aligns with the <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">aesthetic, narrative, and</span> gameplay objectives.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the production team to manage <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">deliverables, ensuring</span> that milestones and deadlines are met by both internal and external teams.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><b>What do we need from you?</b></p><ul><li><p>8+ years of professional art experience for games, with at least 3-5+ years in a senior or lead role.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience managing internal artists and partnering with external teams.</p></li><li><p>Experience on at least one <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">successfully-published</span> large-scale multiplayer online game title or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>A strong <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">portfolio showcasing</span> a wide range of high-quality <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">art, demonstrating</span> a deep understanding of art fundamentals and production pipelines.</p></li><li><p>Proficient experience with the Unreal Engine and its content pipeline.</p></li><li><p>A track record of fostering best-in-class creative culture where artists can do their best work.</p></li><li><p>Deep knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in art production.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Good to Have</b></p><ul><li><p>A passion for online multiplayer RPGs.</p></li><li><p>Experience with live-service games.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of multiple art disciplines.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><span>How We Get Things Done…</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>This last bit is probably the most important! Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $112,000.00 - $208,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
