Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen and ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee your assigned kitchen section efficiently
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes and specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of your workstation
  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste
  • Support and guide junior kitchen staff when required
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during service

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Passion for food, quality, and consistency
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
