This role is responsible for administering Microsoft 365 platforms, on-prem Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory while ensuring secure access, high availability, and an excellent end-user experience across the organization.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role interacts with IT Security, Infrastructure, Service Desk teams, third party MSP, and external vendors.</p> <p> </p> <p>Primarily, this role will interact with Engineering and Security internally as needed to maintain and work together to meet the needs and requirement of Valvoline Global.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a support resource, this role will often engage with VIPs and other internal customers. Being able to think quickly and having excellent people and communications skills are needed.</p> <p>Vendors are often engaged when a solution cannot be found internally or with the third-party MSP. This role will, or assist in, initiating contact with third party vendors and working issues to resolution.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Architect and support Microsoft 365 back-end platforms including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD)</li> <li>Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and mailboxes</li> <li>Configure and maintain security and compliance features (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, retention policies)</li> <li>Monitor service health and troubleshoot M365-related issues</li> <li>Administer on-prem Active Directory (user/group management, GPOs, DNS, trusts)</li> <li>Manage hybrid identity environments using Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync</li> <li>Create and maintain PowerShell scripts and other API's to automate routine administrative tasks</li> <li>Administer Power BI environments, including tenant configuration, security, capacity management, governance, and user enablement</li> <li>Architect cloud-based storage platforms for end users</li> <li>Architect identity lifecycle processes including user onboarding and offboarding</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Information Technology, CIS or related field or equivalent experience</li> <li>3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory</li> <li>ITIL Foundations, Microsoft 365 Product Certifications</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Competencies Desired</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sharepoint, Teams, and OneDrive</li> <li>On-Prem AD and Azure AD</li> <li>PowerShell and other automation tools</li> <li>PowerBI administration and reporting</li> <li>Microsoft Print Server Administration</li> <li>End User Cloud Storage Platforms: AWS FSx, Azure Files, etc.</li> <li>Experience working/managing 3rd party vendors with regards to project/day to day operations</li> <li>End User Cloud Storage Platforms: AWS FSx, Azure Files, etc.</li> <li>Experience working/managing 3rd party vendors with regards to project/day to day operations</li> <li>Strong customer service skills</li> <li>Able to teach and coach lower level resources to complete tasks as related to the work requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li><em>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements</em>: This is a remote work position that is expected to work 50% US hours.</li> <li><em>Travel Requirements</em>: Up to 10%</li> </ul> <p> </p><p><span id="cke_bm_4547S" style="display:none"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Valvoline Global is an <strong>equal opportunity employer</strong>.
