Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Join a dynamic, customer-facing technical program management team that sits at the intersection of engineering, product management, business units, and strategic customers. This team plays a critical role in driving successful customer platform integrations and product launches, ensuring AMD solutions are delivered with precision, predictability, and excellence.

As a Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs supporting customer portfolios from early planning through product lifecycle execution. You will work closely with engineering teams to translate customer requirements into executable schedules, align deliverables across organizations, and proactively manage risks before they impact launch timelines.

 

This is a high-visibility role where you will interact directly with customers, senior technical leaders, and executive stakeholders. You will gain exposure to AMD’s product strategy, customer ecosystems, and cross-functional execution processes while operating in a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed environment.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented technical program manager who thrives in complex, customer-driven environments. You are comfortable operating across organizational boundaries and can build strong relationships with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external customers. You demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and structured thinking. You communicate clearly and confidently at all levels, including executive audiences, and you bring a solutions-oriented mindset when navigating ambiguity or risk. You are organized, analytical, and motivated by driving programs to successful completion while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, plan, and drive customer-facing technical programs from initiation through delivery
• Translate customer platform requirements into engineering schedules and actionable deliverables
• Manage cross-functional dependencies across engineering, product management, and business units
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success
• Maintain program artifacts including schedules, resource forecasts, RAID logs, and executive dashboards
• Utilize Salesforce to track customer programs, maintain account visibility, and ensure accurate reporting
• Facilitate cross-team communication and escalate issues when needed to maintain momentum
• Partner with customers to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience managing customer-facing technical programs
• Strong understanding of cross-functional product development environments
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience building dashboards, managing risk logs, and presenting executive status updates
• Familiarity with semiconductor, hardware, or platform-based product environments
• Knowledge of Agile and hybrid program management methodologies
• PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Salesforce experience required

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field preferred
• Formal project management training or certification preferred
