Position: Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor

Work Schedule: AM Shifts (with flexibility as needed) Weekends when needed
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Highlights:

  • Oversee housekeeping staff to ensure patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are clean and inviting.
  • Ensure proper cleaning of patient bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers.
  • Monitor cleanliness of hallways and common areas by ensuring mopping, stripping, and buffing of floors are completed according to standards.
  • Ensure furniture, walls, and equipment are regularly cleaned to maintain a pleasant environment.
  • Train and guide housekeeping staff to safely and effectively use cleaning agents and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Establish and enforce cleaning schedules to ensure timely and thorough cleaning throughout the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness and comfort of our facility.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping/laundry experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand standard English.
  • Effective customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
