What You'll Do:

Join our dynamic team as a Guidewire Policy Center/Claims Center Solution Designer where you will leverage your extensive experience in Guidewire and Jira to design and implement innovative solutions. With a focus on the insurance sector you will play a pivotal role in integrating Guidewire products to enhance our digital offerings. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive business transformation and deliver significant value to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive solutions using Guidewire products to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Guidewire Policy Center pr ClaimCenter and other suite components.

• Utilize Jira to manage project tasks track progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

• Develop and maintain Guidewire tools and accelerators to streamline processes and improve system performance.

• Provide technical expertise in Guidewire Studio to customize and extend application functionalities.

• Oversee the integration of Guidewire Insurance Suite with existing systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

• Lead the development of digital portals using Guidewire Digital Portal to enhance user experience and engagement.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in Guidewire Work Model to optimize project outcomes and resource utilization.

• Conduct regular assessments of system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Guidewire advancements to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge solutions.

• Contribute to the companys strategic goals by delivering solutions that improve customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in Guidewire Insurance Suite Integration and its fundamental components.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using Guidewire Policy Center or ClaimCenter and related tools for effective claims management.

• Have a strong background in Jira for project management and task tracking.

• Exhibit expertise in Guidewire Studio for application customization and extension.

• Show familiarity with Guidewire Digital Portal for developing user-friendly digital interfaces.

• Understand the Guidewire Work Model to ensure efficient project execution.

• Hold a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.

Working arrangements:

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON, Canada.
