We are looking for a General Worker.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure all equipment and areas are clean and in good working order;
  • Clean, dust and mop facility floors by using a variety of equipment and supplies
  • Vacuum and shampoo carpets and make sure that they are dried out before the day begins
  • Wipe down desks and chairs and make sure that stubborn smears are removed using appropriate cleaning materials
  • Empty dustbins and ashtrays and make sure that all trash is properly disposed off
  • Clean and wash down windows and ensure that they are dried properly
  • Ensure that the office kitchen and equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
  • Wash down restrooms and ensure they are sanitised properly
  • Replenish towels, soap and toilet paper in bathrooms on a regular basis
  • Wipe down walls, doors and wall hangings using appropriate types of cleaners and cloth
  • Check all chemical levels and inventory for cleaning
  • Set up tea station and ensure crockery is stored correctly
  • Clean all soiled equipment items; and record any breakages
  • Remove trash and waste;
  • Be aware of and comply with health, safety, hygiene and environmental regulations
  • Use and store operating equipment in line with specifications and safety regulations
  • Resolve or report on any anomalies to the required standards
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues
  • Connect with all clients by providing them with a warm welcome, greeting them with a friendly smile, acknowledging them, and ensuring respect at all times
  • Interact with clients and provide professional service standards and relevant solutions
  • Handle any complaints, requests and / or suggestions to resolution, escalating if necessary
