Our Calgary Crossiron Mills location is currently seeking full-time, part-time bakers for this holiday season.

Job description

Required: Food Handlers Safety Certification (preference will be given to those candidates holding valid certification)

Additional Skills (preferred but willing to train):

  • Prepare and bake specialty foods
  • Familiar with baking terms and baking theory
  • Ability to troubleshoot or identify problems in the bakery
  • Must be able to lift up to 25kg of weight
  • Can stand for long periods of times
  • Works well in a team and able to cooperate with co-workers
  • Possesses good time management skills and can multi-task
  • Can work in hotter temperatures and fast paced environment
  • ****Punctual****
  • Solid communication skills
  • Food Handler Certificate is an asset. REQUIRED FOR FUTURE ADVANCEMENT
  • Currently resides in commutable location to work**NOT A SEASONAL POSITION**

Baker Responsibilities

  • Baking
  • Assisting opening and closing store
  • Scaling of ingredients, stocking and preparing packaging, supplies
  • Customer Service
  • Cleaning and Maintenance of bakery
  • Inventory control

Baker Availability

  • As early as 7:00 am or until 10pm (Earlier or later during the holidays as required)
  • Must be available to work both weekends and statutory holidays.
  • At least 1 closing shift.
