Are you ready to deliver the value and potential of our groundbreaking pipeline? As the Franchise Analytics Director, US Oncology, you will lead a team of 3-4 direct reports to drive analytics excellence across multiple tumors and multiple brands, and will further sit on the Analytics, Data, and Reporting (ADR) Leadership Team, providing enhanced visibility and influence across this critical function within US Oncology. This role will be influential in brand strategy development, market characterization, and brand optimization, and a critical owner of driving commercial efficiency to improve our inline assets and accelerate launches.

Accountabilities:

  • Synthesize complex data to derive critical insights for brand performance & underlying drivers to inform commercial strategic decision-making.
  • Manage large-scale datasets and conduct sophisticated quantitative data analyses
  • Lead the design and delivery of actionable recommendations through compelling, succinct storytelling and impactful data visualization
  • Apply advanced analytics approaches to deepen our understanding of disease states, treatment landscapes, and patient journeys.
  • Serve as an expert resource on the scope, interpretation, and nuances of internal secondary data
  • Scope, prioritize, and negotiate projects across the franchise.
  • Design and manage projects, with hands-on execution by other Analytics team members (internal or external agency), and communicating results
  • Lead highly complex projects with only limited guidance and provide regular guidance to more junior Analytics Managers
  • Identify and promote innovate analytics approaches and best practices across the franchise, including direct incorporation of advanced AI capabilities

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Forecasting & Performance, and sits within the Analytics, Data & Reporting function within US Oncology’s Oncology Business Excellence department, an inclusive team that partners with the US Oncology commercial organization to drive strategic decisions by providing objective, data-driven insight generation and analytics. 

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience working in the life sciences industry
  • 5+ years of analytics, statistics, or data science experience in the life sciences
  • Deep expertise with multiple APLD sources (Claims, Electronic Health Records)
  • AI centric, with an ability to define and drive AI projects that ultimate enhance analytics efficiency and drive enhanced depth of insights
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent skills in collaborating with and presenting results to end-user clients/stakeholders

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced Quantitative Degree in a related subject or Advanced Marketing Degree
  • Expertise in at least one data analysis language (R, or Python)
  • Direct experience with implementing BI visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, etc.)
  • Experience working in Oncology
  • Project / Program management expertise
  • People management experience – either direct manager, or manager of vendor teams

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $194,500- $291,800. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
