As a Sales Representative I, you will build relationships with, and learn to present information to, key leaders in grocery stores, bakeries, delis and convenience stores to secure profitable sales in your territory. With the guidance and support of a Sales Representative II, you will partner with customers to market Lipari products and services, collect orders and process credits, and ultimately ensure our retail partners, as well as Lipari, are successful.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibit a professional leadership presence with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers
  • Be the customers’ consultant and the source for order collection
  • Present new information, such as products, pricing, etc., to established customers when the Customer Success Manager is not available

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales with in-person, “Belly to Belly” consultation to designated customers
  • Experience with retailers in deli, bakery, convenience stores, grocers, etc. a plus
  • Ability to market and present new items, programs and other ‘value-add’ services to customers
  • Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and standard email applications
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English; multiple languages a plus
  • Ability to engage in a significant amount of territorial travel, regional sales meetings and other sales specific events
  • Valid Driver License and reliable vehicle
