In this role, you'll assess learners' competence in workplace settings and at the training centre, ensuring skills and knowledge meet industry standards. You'll complete reviews, maintain high-quality records, and collaborate with employers to support learner progress. Full training and onboarding are provided.

The ideal candidate will have a background in maintenance, manufacturing, or production with multi-skilled (mechanical & electrical) experience. You'll be passionate about helping others.Teaching/assessing experience is not required.

The Role:

Assess apprentices' competence in multi-skilled maintenance (mechanical & electrical).

Plan and conduct workplace reviews and skills assessments.

Support learners to complete portfolios and meet apprenticeship standards.

Maintain accurate documentation and quality/compliance records.

Build strong relationships with employers to support on-the-job development.

The Person

Time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer (maintenance/manufacturing/production).

Strong practical knowledge across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Excellent communicator with a mentoring mindset.

Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to visit employer sites.

Teaching/assessing quals not required - full training provided.
