Job Description:

The Earned Influence & Brand PR Transformation Lead will spearhead an ambitious 2-3 year transformation of Mars' earned-first PR, social media, and influencer capabilities. The role will partner with a core team of Marketing Transformation leaders and will be responsible for working across segments to develop processes, ways of working, and capabilities for the Corporate Affairs function. This role will also partner with CA teams across segments and markets to develop a One Mars approach.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Lead the consolidation of PR agency partners worldwide, establishing a consistent operating model, performance standards, and value-driven partnerships.
  • Partner with Corporate Affairs and Marketing leadership to embed an earned-first approach across Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned media, ensuring a process for integration into campaign ideation, execution, and measurement.
  • Define and implement new cross-functional processes. Partner with cross-functional leads in Core Transformation Team.
  • Deploy a new global framework to measure the impact of PR and earned media across both reputation and brand growth outcomes.
  • Act as a change agent within the Corporate Affairs function, building understanding and adoption across teams through clear, consistent communications.

  • Experience of leading complex transformation programs (agency, organizational, or functional) at a global or regional level.
  • Deep understanding of brand storytelling, cultural insights, and the evolving media landscape.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, particularly with Marketing, Insights, and Creative teams.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across diverse geographies.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 192,560.00 - USD 264,770.00
