About Morpho

Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that raised million from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to build an open lending network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over billion in deposits on the network, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as a cornerstone, not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system.

Our Mission

Morpho's mission is to power human ambition with open access to capital. Human ambition has no borders, but the capital to fuel it does. Today's financial system is closed and fragmented. No one sees all opportunities, most overpay, and some are excluded entirely. We believe capital should flow efficiently to where it's needed most - giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms.

Location

Hong Kong or Singapore. This role covers Morpho's APAC desk during Asian market hours and requires being close to the capital allocators you will serve across Greater China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Japan. Remote work is supported within APAC time zones (GMT+8 to GMT+9).

How we work

We move fast on hard problems in a nascent market with no set playbook: navigating uncertainty is part of the job. You'll be challenged: anyone can question work and decisions must be justified. We keep a high bar and match it with high support: we help each other unblock and share context openly, with low ego. More about our values: morpho.org/jobs.

Role

The mission of this role is to eliminate Morpho's 24/7 coverage gap by planting the DeFi Desk in APAC: owning the region's largest crypto capital allocators end-to-end, structuring bespoke deals through Morpho Blue and Midnight, and running the desk independently during Asian market hours.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end strategic relationships with APAC's largest capital allocators (HNW individuals, family offices, prop desks, DATs, and CEXes) through Attio with personalized, high-touch outreach calibrated to each relationship, to grow Morpho's active loan book in the region.

Build the APAC lender and borrower book by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding net-new participants across Greater China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Japan through a dedicated pipeline strategy operated from Attio.

Source, scope, and structure bespoke deals (fixed-rate loans, multi-collateral facilities, gated curator vaults, structured obligations) by coordinating directly with Curators to create and close custom opportunities for APAC allocators.

Hold the desk during APAC market hours by monitoring book health through volatility events, coordinating with Curators to source borrows for incoming supply, and routing them to the right vaults without escalating to New York.

Run bilingual education in the market (Mandarin-language webinars, explainers, and differentiation sheets) to build Morpho's brand among crypto institutional allocators in Mandarin-speaking markets.

Be the voice of APAC inside Morpho by feeding structured product requirements, oracle and custody needs, and region-specific signals back to Product, Protocol, and Curator teams to help shape Midnight's APAC go-to-market.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days

Onboard with the APAC Lead and the NY desk. Meet the top 10 current APAC whale accounts in person or on call. Scope the first Mandarin-language webinar and put it in flight. Update and segment Attio's APAC book of record.

First 4 months

Onboard net-new APAC TVL across the lender and borrower book. Close or advance 2 to 3 Morpho Midnight structured deals to legal. Stand up a recurring Mandarin content cadence across webinars and explainers. Own APAC desk hours without any escalation to New York.

In 1 year

Directly own a $500M to $1B book of APAC lender and borrower relationships. Close 5+ Midnight deals in APAC. Become a recognized voice in the Mandarin crypto institutional community. The DeFi Desk operates 24/7 with no Asia gap.

Must-have Experience & Skills

5+ years in crypto institutional sales, OTC trading, structured products, or wealth management at a category-defining trading desk or exchange institutional arm.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, written and spoken. Able to run a full technical product call in Mandarin, write Chinese-language explainers, and operate WeChat end-to-end. Cantonese is a plus.

Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, or willing to relocate, with an existing, warm network in Greater China crypto, family offices, and prop desks.

Deep technical fluency in DeFi: ERC-4626 vaults, curator architectures, oracle risk, liquidation mechanics, looping math. Able to hold a conversation with a risk analyst without slowing the room down.

Track record of structuring bespoke deals end-to-end: strong P&L instinct, rate-spread mechanics, liquidity management, and a solid grasp of maker/taker dynamics, funding rates, and basis.

Comfortable operating as the sole Morpho contributor on the desk during APAC hours, making judgment calls without a colleague to sanction them.

High-trust, high-discretion relationship sensibility: the job is closer to running a private wealth desk or a high-end auction house than traditional enterprise sales.

Proactive book-builder who shows up with a pipeline plan, not waiting to be assigned accounts.

Clear and crisp across async channels (Slack, Notion, Attio, WeChat) and able to adapt communication style for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Humble.

Perks & benefits

We design benefits around deep work and growth, so you can do the best work of your career. Expect fair, top-tier compensation, real flexibility, time together in Paris, great health coverage, and support to keep learning.

Equal opportunity

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and hire based on talent, potential, and values alignment.

Ready to shape the future of finance?
